MY REVEIW:

This book other page turning mystery from children's literature I was hooked from this first sentence. It is all set around in 1910 London in a department store called sinclair's with the heroines Sophie Taylor and Lillian rose. The wonderful thing about this was the codes you could crack making you feel like you were part of the story. The story revolves  around  the clockwork sparrow a beautiful gemstone bird that when wined up plays and tune but the difference between a normal wind up toy is that every time it is wind up it plays a different tune no wonder it was stolen! One thing about this book is that it makes your mouth water for iced buns!
